WHAT: Baebea bento lunch box

WHY: Our judges all loved the chunky, substantial feel of this lidded lunch box and felt that although the lid was very secure, it would be easy for little hands to undo if they were eating independently. The well-designed compartments were seen as a big plus, enabling multiple foods to be stored in one box. No blueberries on your crackers! The muted, on-trend colours were much admired by the panel, as was the easy-to-clean, sturdy food-grade silicone.

As the mother of a child who didn’t like different foods to touch each other, I really appreciated this lunch box! A stylish, easy to clean, silicone box that you’ll use for years to come.

This was much more robust than other silicone products I’ve tested. A really great lunch box with a strong seal and room for different yummy snacks.

WHAT: TUM TUM Tippy Up Cup

WHY: The JDA panel loved these cute animal-themed cups that will definitely be a visual hit with kids. The leakproof lid and weighted, valve-free straw that guarantees easy, free-flowing access to the drink inside, impressed, as did sweet innovations like a glow-in-the-dark version so that kids can find theirs at night. Clever!

I love these sweet drinking cups with personality! The cute characters make them appealing to little ones, while the weighted, easy-flow straw makes drinking a doddle. A great cup for transitioning from bottle feeding.

WHO: Babycup

WHAT: Babycup Sippeco First Cups

WHY: These sweet little rainbow cups really intrigued many of our judges. Perfectly scaled and designed for encouraging little ones to learn the very important art of sipping they are also incredibly useful to parents having to navigate feeding challenges such as latch issues, bottle-refusal, cleft or tongue-tie.The panel was impressed with Babycup’s accreditation from the highly-regarded Oral Health Foundation and were extremely excited to discover that these cups are now not only recyclable but biodegradable too!

Definitely a product I would have used when my sons were smaller! Using one of these and skipping the whole faff of trying to find a sippy cup your toddler will accept - brilliant!!

There is so much research to show that encouraging sipping from an early age helps overall development. These simple cups, designed for little hands and mouths are something I would recommend to all families.
